VIGILANTE GROUP FOR COPENHAGEN FAILURES

December 19th 2009 03:34
With the Copenhagen failure we need a vigilant (e) group to take care of our politicians and bureaucrats. Teach them that if we save our endangered species we are saving ourselves. The practice with saving the animals will come in handy when we find ourselves in dire straights. High flown (and failed) economics should not even be considered as an answer for anything to do with the environment. We have to learn to live without our luxuries. Anything more than water, fire, an axe and a rifle is luxury. Our descendants WILL BE LIVING IN THIS style by the end of the century unless we rid ourselves of ignorant leaders (by assailing them with real information). The coal industry requires scotching because we need less power by wearing the right clothing. If it's a cold day you walk around the house in jumpers, overcoats gloves and hats. I've done this for years.

Copenhagen's climate change decisions will fail. Our politicians have begun to think that spin is reality. Problem is most politicians haven't experience in the business world, and if they had they'd be even more corrupt than they are now. So they give us spin about capping emissions and trading emission licenses.

The reality is that industry lobby groups will be employed full time to cry on politicians shoulders about unjust capping and how terrible it will be to inflict pain on their shareholders. Proof that this will be the way it will all go is that they have already done it. The coal industry has been given billions of dollars in compensation for the capping they will receive. Yeah, that's right, the capping they will receive. They haven't been capped yet, but have been promised the money. MY GOD, DID THE SOOKS CRY FOR MERCY.

Remember the coal industry is supposed to gradually die away but governments are giving them money to survive.

Governments SHOULD HAVE told us we have to keep the coal industry to prevent social dysfunction. Well, that's fine but the LACK OF WATER in some countries will cause dysfunction first. No matter how much money governments force on the water industry it's doubtful that they will create more rain. They tried it in China and made it rain the wrong place. Other places, that were expecting their customary rain to fall, were dry.

IT REALLY IS UP TO LOCAL COMMUNITIES TO LEARN TO LIVE WITH A DEGREE OF POVERTY. FOOD AND SHELTER MUST BE CREATED FOR EVERYONE. URBAN COMMUNITIES MUST TEACH HOW TO USE PUBLIC SPACES AND BACKYARDS TO GROW FOOD. TRAVEL NEEDS TO BE BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT, BIKES, EVEN (IN THE COUNTRY) BY HORSE AND GIG. ALONG THE WAY WE NEED TO SAVE OUR WILD ANIMALS FOR IN SAVING THEM WE LEARN TO SAVE OURSELVES. WE NEED THE PRACTICE.
