SLOW TO REALISE WE'RE GETTING THE PLANET'S NUCLEAR WASTE
November 12th 2008 02:41
Australians are really slow on the political uptake. A liberal Labor government dedicated to censorship is a new animal. It means that the future for us is a slowing of communication. Couple censorship laws with the undemocratic terrorism laws and you have a way of closing down dissent.
No matter the show trials of alleged terrorists we have here ,there is really very little danger unless you go to Indonesia. So why are we closing down social and democratic styles for no good reason? We haven't been given a valid reason, although the breadth of criteria for the coming censorship could result in the crippling of a democratic Australia.
The Minister for censorship, Stephen Conroy is an ambitious politician of the new school. He is forcing this unwanted legislation upon us for a reason.
His mates inside and outside Parliament have recommended Australia take the planet's nuclear waste. Bob Hawke was the first big promoter. What do you need to prevent dissent for such a move from spreading? Censorship.
Already legislation exits here for the above to take place. It is supported by the UN, and certainly by the US and the UK who have terrible waste problems they can't solve. Their solutions? Get rid of it to a passive and stable country that has plenty of vacant country.
