Talking Headlines - by Bill Green

America's greed, that is now reflected in all countries, is responsible for the oil explosion in the Gulf.

BP executives felt the well could give more oil, and therefore, without any thought of safety, or the intricate problems of taking oil from such deep water, demanded more production. The crew on the oil rig strove to produce more.
And then the oil exploded.

The result is the future destruction of the coasts of four US states (so far) and will obviously decimate Mexico's coastline, although there has been no speculation in the US media. Others say the oil will creep around Florida's panhandle and begin to ruin eastern states.

It could be a huge warning against greed but no one recognises the greedy instinct hiding in the normal taking of resources. The plan is to take as much as possible, as often as possible, as soon as possible, whilst sticking to the
recommendations in a report the industry funded.

Australia's nuclear waste dump on Muckaty station in the Northern Territory will be totally safe given it will be stored in drums similar to forty four gallon fuel drums and raised off the dirt floor in a brand new corrugated iron shed.

That's how we do things in Australia. We saw how the Americans did it on the Columbia River with double-skinned steel containers, ceramic containers, and then taking the water from the soil, removing the radioactivity, and putting it back. Nothing stopped the leaks into the river. Australia's logic is why go to the expense when nothing works?

We don't even use our famous corrugated iron architect, Glen Murcutt, to design the tin sheds.

Please don't think the nuclear waste dumps that will be springing up around Australia in the next few decades will be free of foreign nuclear waste. We have been chosen to take America's waste.

The deal was done in May 2006, the month that the book that predicted it (The Devil's Trap ... set to catch friends, Amazon) was launched.

SUBHUMANS BAN REFUGEES IN IGNORANCE

April 13th 2010 03:28
Our subhuman politicians have reacted again without any real knowledge of Afghanistan or Sri Lanka.

Refugees from those countries have been banned: they will not be processed.

Why? Because conditions in those countries have changed for the better. Sorry subhumans. Conditions are exactly the same. Australian diplomats don't ever visit the streets because of security problems. And if the country is so safe that
there should be no refugees, why do we have troops there at all?

Sri Lankan foreign minister said the day before the subhuman ban descended that his country was now safe for everybody. Wouldn't that have been a request from subhuman Smith who is desperate to please the subhuman prime minister Rudd. Don't they think that people will remember their compassionless reign.

Now Rio Tinto has decided to run their fawning line in China we should all be awake to China's continuing bullying in negotiations.

Rio has declared their employee, Stern Hu, guilty of ill-prepared charges ( no witnesses for the complainant, China), heard in an illegal court. There was no media or public allowed into the court to hear the corruption charges. That makes it a closed illegal court. It's also a riff on the Russian Show Trials. We are showing you that we can conduct our justice without transparency.

And where was the individual who paid the bribes? Why wasn't he there to give evidence? Or are bribery techniques so sophisticated now that they only need the paid, not the provider.

Well it would have been expensive for China to bribe a witness to give evidence against Stern.

The trumped up charges show how farcical China is when attempting to deal justice, no, injustice. To have the guilty pleas after the defendants had been incarcerated for over a half a year without family visits, so the torture and the abuse of their human rights wouldn't be obvious, is more the style of Guantanamo Bay. But hey, the US under a new government, decided to have proper court cases.

Tell Dennis Hopper he doesn't have to dies just yet.

John Hopkins Medical Centre state 90% of prostate cancer is caused by diet.

To rectify that I followed their advice that flaxseed oil slows the growth of tumor cells
(see their latest prostate cancer bulletin) and kills them off more quickly.

Despie being diagnosed with advanced prostate stage 4 my PSA zoomed down from
197 to 3.6 in three months. I had a shot of Luprin as well. However six tablespoons of flaxseed oil beaten with two cups of cottage cheese and taken four times a day (half a cup four times a day) has kept my PSA even lower despite giving up Luprin. My memory is fine, as is bone density and libido.

Apart from Omega 3,6, and 9 the oil has (?) which inhibits the growth of blood vessels to tumors. I WAS DESTINED TO BE BURIED BEFORE LAST CHRISTMAS.

I'VE ATTEMPTED TO TRACK HOPPER'S E-MAIL - OR HIS AGENTS - AND WILL CONTINUE BUT if anyone knows it please refer him to flaxseed via John Hopkins prostate bulletin

Australia is becoming embedded in China's Psyche. We have accepted the Chinese show trial of the four Rio Tinto executives. Kevin Rudd said, China has their own legal system. This means we will leave them alone, despite their bullying and torturing of the Australian defendants. They murdered in Tibet and northern China and no one took asked them to explain. Our government has gone ahead and backed the Chinese government against a private company that was negotiating in China with accepted techniques. Everyone is bribed in China if you want something to occur. Why would Rio Tinto be bribed? And who gave the bribes? We're not going to find out with our acceptance of our citizens being tried in a closed court without media attendance.

This is a show trial because China is showing us it can persecute our citizens and that their flawed court is something we have to accept and like. It's a show trial in the sense of, "We will show you, we can do anything we wish

THE FOUR ACCUSED HAVE BEEN IN DETENTION FOR NINE MONTHS AND ONLY RECENTLY WERE CHARGED WITH CORRUPTION

Robert Dessaix writes elegantly about everything except this millenium's major problem, politics.
He appears to take some pride in not being the sort of writer who is a threat to China.

FREUD AND THE NAZIS GO SURFING

February 25th 2010 05:12
This is unashamed promotion of the third edition of my novel, Freud and the Nazis Go Surfing. It was first published a decade or so ago (Pan Macmillan) to rave reviews. It is now available on Amazon.

All its themes are current today. It's not just a half-smart title, but one that represents the world that many people struggle to cope with no matter how tuned in they may imagine themselves to be

Strange that Obama is subsidising huge nuclear plants in Georgia while his government is panicking about nuclear waste. The country has been unable to contain it safely. The huge waste facilities in Washington State are leaking into the Columbia River. They have attempted to contain it with single skin steel, double skin steel, ceramics, and even taken the water out of the earth around them and removed the radioactivity, but still the muck leaks into the Columbia River.

My assertion is that America has told Australia to take the planet's nuclear waste. Prime Minister Howard was in secret meetings with the Bush administration in May 2006, and since then former Prime Minister Hawke, known for his astute and profitable lobbying of governments, has been vocal on the idea, as has power minister Martin Ferguson and Australia's sometime UN rep, Gareth Evans

BEWARE OF CHINA IN ALL FIELDS

February 1st 2010 00:34
China's triumphalist attitude has been reflected in this blog for months. The blog has also warned against any statements, figures, or opinions coming out of the dictatorship.

For instance their alleged one and a half trillion dollars spent on a floundering economy was in fact the state spending money on the state, as they would have done anyway. Still the western media fell for it. THEY OVERLOOK THE INJUSTICE THAT PREVAILS IN CORRUPT CHINA AND THE MURDER AND JAILING OF DISSIDENTS

Google's Just War Against China

January 24th 2010 10:34
Despite being unsure of Google's deeper motives they are looking very good in their war against China.

China lies about everything, including their homicidal policies reserved for protesters inside and outside China. They lie about their financial expansion (there is no one testing their figures because they won't allow it

ASIO IS SOOOO DUMB

January 14th 2010 04:45
One of Australia's intelligence organisations is very, very dumb. They have taken the word of Sri Lankan security on the worthiness of Tamil refugees. The UN condemn the Sri Lankan refugee camps and their lack of law and order, and even the way security labels those in the camps non-refugees.

Oh and the Tamils have been oppressed for decades,They've been murdered, terrorised and generally treated as untouchable (Yes, Sri Lanka even had India in to murder the Tamils). Strangely enough the Tamils began to fight back. Earlier they were called freedom fighters by the media

"Attempted murder" is the charge that should be leveled at the Japanese whaling ship that cut the Sea Shepherd's speed boat in half. To term it just "a vicious attack" as the media is doing is allowing the fleet to up its aggressive behavior.

The Australian government and Peter Garret are displaying their lack of fortitude in not pursuing an act in their waters which is akin to piracy
