Israel is trapped in a cliche. It's not entirely the fault of its people for a cliche often contains elements of truth. But it is such an obvious one that you would expect them to be able to extricate themselves from it without killing women and children so readily.
The cliche is that the oppressed become the oppressors. And those that have been oppressed imagine it is their right to behave very badly as they do so.
Israel should realise that the oppressed Palestinians will be around for many decades attempting to return the favour ad nauseum.
Maybe the only way is a chemical solution. All males in the area should be dosed sufficiently to lose their testosterone. The dose to be stopped when they move from the area. Horror, that would be worse than rendition. I don't think so. Such happenings do occur with rendition but it's usually savage and permanent. How could such a course be taken? Certainly the Palestinians wouldn't go for it. Israeli's would rather die than lose their aggression and of course they will in time. Do they think like won't finally get together and help each other? Only a small change in circumstances is required.
Would you really prefer the murder of children to continue. Pedophiles are made impotent with chemicals and they don't even kill, or threaten to kill, children.
