No government in America, Australia, China, India or the US has launched any scheme, or project to immediately reverse carbon emissions into the atmosphere. There may be some in mainland Europe but the English-speaking media tend not to report events there.
I am not counting committees or inquiries into events that are already known. Nor am I counting deadlines for the lowering of emissions, for all governments cheat on these and there is no real penalty for missing the deadline. Nor have any of these governments prevented projects which will pour extra carbon into the atmosphere.
The UN does have legislation passed which will allow legal recriminations for those who are affected by projects whose carbon emissions were known when governments or corporations set them in progress.
