For two years I have been writing that Pakistan is in the pockets of the terrorists. They have taken hundreds of millions of dollars from the US to fight the terrorists, except they have never fought them only handed over money and arms. And now because a cricket team has been attacked and the police force's special guardian group took off the moments the terrorists began firing we begin to doubt the horseshit that has flowed from successive presidents. WELL, THEY'RE LAUGHING AT US. THAT THE RETREAT OF THEIR SECURITY WAS SO BLATANT AND BADLY TIMED GIVES SOME IDEA OF HOW MUCH CONTEMPT THEY HAVE FOR US
Musharaff, the former president, said he would have expected a quicker response from any police force he had anything to do with. Well, he did. They trained under his regime. It shows how stupid he thinks the western media is that he imagines he can sound off in such a pathetic matter and expect them to regard it as valid comment - as some of them have done.
And then there was his comment that he wished someone with a rifle, any passerby had taken on the attackers.
Let's be quite clear the motivation for the unrest in Afghanistan comes from Pakistan. These two countries which have some of the roughest terrain in the world are perfect places for terrorists to hide and educate their disciples.
And we have Kevin Rudd deman ding investigations in to the outrage. Unfortunately Kevin is a diplomat and not bloody minded enough to understand that any investigation carried out in Pakistan is total fakery. If they arrest anyone it will be individuals who have attempted to upset the status quo and here's a good chance to set them up. They've learned plenty from the CIA (who handed out the wads of money to them) about rendition and torture techniques.
